The boards you made for me are simply magics…It’s surprising to turn so easy on a gunny board
Hi Todd,
I hope everything is OK for you.
The boards you made for me are simply magics.
I’m thinking of ordering some new boards for the end of the year:
A 5′10 or 5′11 fish TwinFang
For the second board i would like your suggestion between a Lill Rascal Proxy in 6′2 or your new Accelerator in 6′4 Proxy.
May be the Lill Rascal will be too close to the fish and the Accelerator will ofer more options?
Let me known your feeling.
Thank you for all.
Friendly.

Hi again Vincent,
Glad you like the boards….I was stoked on how they came out too!!
As for the new boards, the Twin Fang and Lil’ Rascal are pretty similar….they both have basically the same rocker and bottom contours, but the Lil’ Rascal has a more pulled in nose and tail with less width on the tail block – this makes for a little bit more versatile board in turning capabilities, yet that maintains the same quick draw speed as the Twin Fang. The Twin Fang is a bit more of a classical style fish shape that is great for small waves and lateral speed. Based of your standard “good waves” boards, here are the dimensions for each board model with a real brief rundown of how they go:
Twin Fang: 5’10” x 21” x 2 ¾” – retro feel with quick easy lateral speed; Best in small mushy waves; ideal conditions: 0-4 feet.
Rascal: 6’2” x 20 3/4” x 2 5/8” – a blending of retro easy speed with modern design to make for the fastest possible performance board for small waves….has the versatility/ responsiveness of a modern performance style board with the speed of a fish; Best in small mushy waves, but versatile enough to handle in head high waves too; ideal conditions: 0–4 feet.
Accelerator: 6’4” x 20” x 2 5/8” – The Blackbird for small waves…..flatter entry rocker and a fuller nose outline makes for a quick down the line speeder off the front foot, while concave through the tail increases lift and acts as a gas pedal for the back foot through turns.
The Lil Rascal is close to the Fish and the Accelerator will offer more options. I would go with the Rascal and the Accelerator, or the Twin Fang and the Accelerator.
Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
I know you would be stoked on any combination of two of these three boards….they are all winners.
Looking forward to your reply,
Aloha,
Todd

Hi Todd,
Nice to work with you again.
I will follow your suggestions for the boards and will go with a Rascal (probably a little bit smaller 6′1?) and an Accelerator.
- I would like to try the PROXY for th Accelerator. What do you think of that?
- Should i also try the PROXY for the Rascal or polyesther construction?
- If i order PROXY do you think i should take the same dimensions for the boards?
- At least is it possible to get color or tint with PROXY?
Thank your feeling.
Friendly.
Vincent.
PS: The Ante UP is really a great board. It’s surprising to turn so easy on a gunny board.I’ve feel confortable on it as soon as i paddle for my first wave.
Michel love’s it too.
